Vr4Web Solution, as an Offshore Development Center (ODC) offers our customers extensions to their software development facility.While acting as the customers' extended arm, our ODC also

ensures absoluteprotection of the customer's intellectual property rights.

Customers are also assured of complete consistency with their development processes. This is achieved by the infrastructure segregation of the ODC for different customers, both physically and electronically. Each customer is provided a dedicated, secure and protected computer network and development area.

We have a 256 kb ps leased line for shared connectivity, which can be extended to 2MBPS. All designated employees have a 24x7 connectivity to the internet. An in-house developed intranet is used for communication between the employees.


     

Our experience has helped evolve a robust process model for establishing ODC's through which our customers experience a very smooth migration of their activities to the ODC and a smooth delivery from the ODC.

We understand that every project undertaken by a client is an investment. While we realize that every investment carries a risk, our job is to try and challenge these risks and see how far the client could be safeguarded from them. Towards this end, we have ensured that most of the de-risking elements are embedded in our Project Methodology. Our De-risking strategy ensures the following investment protection for our clients:

Cuts costs:
The onsite and offshore combination considerably reduces the overall investment required, considering the inexpensive offshore development costs, while keeping a strict control on the quality of delivery.

In Sync: By ensuring that the critical system analysis and design phases are done on-site, we ensure that we are totally in sync with the customer needs. This saves lot of trouble for the customers in terms of communication, costs, time and effort.

Real-time monitoring:
Our project delivery mechanism ensures that the status of the project is reviewed on a regular basis with full customer involvement. We also have a web-based, Collaborative Project Management and Monitoring Mechanism that our customers could take advantage of to know the status of each project in real time.
Knowledge Sharing and Retention: Our experienced onsite and offshore teams ensure that the application knowledge is both shared and retained for the benefit of our customers.

Relationship Management:
One of the major risks in outsourcing is managing the relationship itself, which often gets strained due to poor communication between the customer and the outsourcing vendor. Our experienced Customer Relationship Managers and onsite/offsite coordinators ensure that the customers get up-to-date information on the project status. They keep the communication channels on 24x7 to ensure that every question from the customer is answered on priority.

Shared Risk and No-Risk Pricing Models: We have flexible pricing models wherein we share the risks and rewards with the customers. We also have a Fixed Bid pricing model that essentially is a No-Risk model wherein the risk to the customer is totally eliminated.

Pilots for New Engagements:
Another feature in our de-risking strategy is that for new customers, we offer to do a pilot project free (or on “no profit no loss” basis) to demonstrate our capability and commitment. Once you are satisfied, we can have an ongoing engagement/partnership.

On-site

· On time & material basis where requirement, project quality, and configuration management will be the responsibility of the client.
· On fixed price fixed time basis where requirement, Project, Quality, and Configuration Management and Development will be our responsibility.
It can be a hybrid methodology depending on any particular requirement
