Testimony of Rev. R. Ryan

I gave my life to the Lord at the age of 8. Soon afterwards God gave me vision about India. I did not fully understand it at the time but God placed it in my heart like a spark that would later ignite. I became actively involved in the church but I did not have a relationship with God where he was speaking to me.

In due time I got married and had 7 children. However, my husband was very bad to me and I had to leave home with all my children. We went through a very hard time where we had to keep moving from one temporary accommodation to another every six months and sometimes went without food.

I met a sister at church called Dawn who helped me to pray. She took me to a Morris Cerullo meeting where God started to speak to me about removing a mask and dying to self. The Holy Spirit ministered to me and I was overcome with the joy of the Lord.

God began speaking to me very deeply. I began to read the Bible and understand the truth. It was also about this time that God began to speak to me again about India. So after 40 years preparation I was now finally ready to go.

My first trip to India was for 3 months in February 1994. It was a big step for me to leave behind all the children but I encouraged the older ones to look after the younger ones.

I travelled with sister Campbell we had many wonderful experience together. The Lord gave me supernatural understanding of an Indian language called Telugu. I started a Sunday school in Eluru, Andhrapradesh; We had over 100 children in attendance. 1 After this, sfister Campbell went home. I continued to preach in Bombay with an evangelist called Emanuel. One day I prayed for 1 3 years old child that had fallen in to a pit and God restored him back to life. I also saw the Lord open deaf ears and heal the sick.

I returned to India later 1994 for 3 months. I had an opportunity to preach to a church of 700 people and 500 them gave their hearts to the Lord. The Lord also provided a plot of land. I was able to open another Sunday school.

I continued travelling to India for 3 months twice a year. I also started a Bible school and planted churches. I have also started a medical ministry to the blind and a feeding program.

Since 1999 I have been concentrating on raising funds for an orphanage. I have also been supporting one student called Raju who has come from Eluru to attend a Bible college in London.
