Rev. R. Ruth Amma, founder of D.LS.S.R. Ministries gave her life to the Lord at the tender age of eight. Soon after God placed in her heart a vision about India which would years later ignite and spark into a burning desire to travel to India.
Rev Ruth first journeyed to India in 1994 and was unctioned to become involve in starting a Sunday school in Eluru, street evangelising in Bombay and ministering the good news of the Gospel.
During her travels over the years she has been involved in starting up a bible school and church planting. Since 1999 however Rev Ruth has been concentrating on raising funds for the building of an orphanage to provide accommodation and care for abandoned children aged between 0 and eleven years who live in an area with high levels of illiteracy, poverty and under privilege. |
